Men’s Health Week Initiative - June 2026
Overview
The month of June, as part of Men’s Health Month, we are a proud supporter of Ikigai Brotherhood - the inaugural Connection Challenge—an initiative focused on strengthening connection, reducing isolation, and supporting men’s wellbeing across body, mind, and spirit.
This initiative aligns with contemporary Work Health and Safety (WHS) obligations relating to psychological health, including the management of psychosocial risks such as isolation, lack of support, and reduced workplace connection.
Purpose
The Connection Challenge promotes simple, practical actions that foster genuine human connection in both workplace and community settings. It reinforces the principle that strong individuals and teams are built on trust, support, and meaningful interaction.
Key Message
Strong men don’t do life alone.
Participation Actions
All participants are encouraged to:
Reach out to a colleague, peer, friend, or family member and engage in a genuine conversation
Reconnect with individuals within their professional or personal networks
Contribute to a culture of openness, support, and psychological safety
Organisational Involvement
Organisations and leaders are encouraged to:
Promote the initiative internally through meetings, pre-starts, and communication channels
Encourage team participation and lead by example
Integrate connection-focused conversations into daily operations
Visibility and Awareness

Publish support for the initiative on company websites and communication channels
Use the hashtag #IkigaiBrotherhoodConnect to unify and amplify the message
Community Impact
By participating in the Connection Challenge, individuals and organisations contribute to a proactive approach to mental health and wellbeing. The initiative aims to reduce social isolation, strengthen relationships, and build more connected, resilient communities.
It’s all about strengthening connection and supporting wellbeing—both personally and professionally.
Good excuse to reconnect and have some real conversations.
Get involved—reach out, connect, and share it with #IkigaiBrotherhoodConnect.
